Adoption Process

How exciting!

If you are on this page, you have probably already decided to welcome a new family member into your home.  I sincerely hope we have provided you with an abundance of information and have you feeling confident and comfortable with our commitment to the Australian Labradoodle Breed and you, our extended family.

Your first step is to learn more about Autumn Harvest Dood Ranch, our dogs and Karen.  Feel free to email, text or call Karen directly.  Having open conversations allows me to fully understand what you want, need and expect in your next family member.  Transparency, free flowing conversation enables us to build a relationship as opposed to just buying a puppy.  I promise to listen, take detailed notes, share my knowledge and keep you involved every step of the way.

After we chat, I ask that you complete and send the short Adoption Application (click here to go to Adoption Application).  Once reviewed I will contact you and ask that you place your $500.00 deposit to reserve your baby.  This deposit is refundable should you change your mind prior to pregnancy.  You may also move your deposit to a different litter one time in a 12-month period.  Please understand that a great deal of time and planning goes into every pregnancy.  Should you change your mind after pregnancy is confirmed we will not be able to refund your deposit (but, you may move your deposit to another litter as mentioned above).

A second payment of $1500.00 is due when your pup is seven days old.  The last payment of $1000.00 is due three days prior to puppy go home date.  We are pleased to highlight that we do not charge any sales tax.

Personal or certified checks are accepted for your deposit and second payment, only.  Final payment must be made via credit card, Zelle or cash.
